Your Role & Impact

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Spark’s ecosystem and driving the adoption of Spark’s products. By identifying strategic opportunities, building meaningful partnerships, and fostering relationships with key players in DeFi and beyond, you will directly influence Spark’s growth and its position as the yield engine for DeFi. Your work will ensure Spark reaches more users, integrates seamlessly into the DeFi landscape, and continues to innovate in liquidity and financial services.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

• Forge Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and secure collaborations with DeFi protocols, exchanges, institutional partners, and other stakeholders.
• Expand Ecosystem: Build and execute strategies to increase the adoption of sUSDS, sUSDC and sUSDT across multiple chains and platforms.
• Market Research: Stay on top of DeFi trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate on Initiatives: Work with other Spark teams to align BD strategies with Spark’s roadmap.
• Engage the Community: Represent Spark at conferences and online communities to enhance visibility and drive interest.
• Report Progress: Provide updates on pipeline development, partnership performance, and key metrics to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• DeFi Expertise: A strong understanding of DeFi protocols, Web3 infrastructure, and the broader crypto ecosystem.
• Proven Experience: 3+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales in fintech or crypto industries.
• Relationship Building: A track record of fostering and maintaining long-term professional relationships.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify high-value opportunities and develop clear, actionable plans.
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-Motivated: Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
